Xe Graphics promises performance enhancements on current Intel processors, therefore, bringing HD quality gaming to millions of slim laptops. The 11th-generation Intel processor lineup has improved AI integration and native Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity support.
Recently, Intel shared more information about the Thunderbolt 4 connectivity solution, which was demonstrated for the first time at the CES 2020 event. In particular, Lenovo has confirmed that the company will integrate the Thunderbolt 4 interface into its next laptop, therefore, suggesting the presence of an 11th Intel processor.
With the launch of the 10nm Tiger Lake processor, Intel will expect to give stiff competition to AMD’s Ryzen 4000 mobile processors which are based on the 7nm process and Zen 2 architecture. Earlier in March, the company announced two new processors for the gaming laptop, the Ryzen 9 4900H and the Ryzen 9 4900HS. At CES 2020, AMD stated that the Ryzen Mobile 4000 series would also include the Ryzen 5, and Ryzen 7 models.
Ryan Shrout, Intel’s chief strategist, expected gamers to run from the graphics setting on High with a prototype system at 30fps at 30fps on the battlefield.
Such improvements in graphics performance from an integrated solution can have a profound impact on the hardware requirements of some categories of users. It is possible that it may reach very close to real-world performance
