AMD has introduced Ryzen 3000 C-Series and Athlon 3000 C-Series CPUs in the Chromebook market. Which is cheap and affordable. These chips are drawn to quad-core, eight-thread Zen + designs paired with the Vega integrated graphics engine. AMD Chromebook has landed in the market for the first time with dual-core A4 and A6 processors.
The company has launched Ryzen 3000 C-Series and Athlon 3000 C-Series CPU with Radeon Vega graphics. Both Athlon processors are based on Zen architecture. Regarding this processor, the company has claimed that the built-in Radeon graphics card is a fast GPU found on the Chromebook.
AMD Ryzen 3000 C-Series
The three processors in this series are the Ryzen 7 3700C at the top with 15W TDP, coupled with a quad-core eight-thread processor. It also has 10 Radeon cores, and that it is Ryzen 3000, it is a 12nm chip. Which has a base CPU clock speed of 2.3GHz and can go up to 4.0GB. The chipset offers 6MB cache and comes with 10 Radeon graphics cores with a frequency of 1400MHz. It is also accompanied by the Ryzen 5 3500C, which has a base speed of 2.1 GHz and can go up to 3.7GHz. And finally, the AMD Ryzen 3 is 3250C, using the 14nm Zen architecture instead of Zen +., And its processor is dual-core four-thread, with a base CPU clock speed of 2.6GHz to 3.5GHz. The chipset provides 5MB of the cache.
AMD Athlon 3000 C-Series
The company has launched two new CPUs in the Athlon 3000 C-Series. Which uses a 14nm node based on Zen architecture. Compared to Intel Pentium and Celeron, there is the Athlon Gold 3150C which has a dual-core four-thread CPU with a base clock speed of 2.4GHz and boost clock speed of 3.3GHz. It has 3 Radeon GPU cores at 1100MHz with a total TDP of 15 GB. And provides a 5MB cache. Finally, without hyperthreading, Athlon Silver comes in dual cores with two threads. And in addition to the Gold, it offers a 2.3GHz base clock speed and a 3.2GHz boost clock speed and offers two Radeon graphics cores with 15W TPD.
