Due to the Indo-China border dispute, the mutual strategic and trade relations between the two countries have deteriorated. Due to this, the Government of India has turned away 59 Chinese apps, taking care of data privacy and business rules have also changed. And due to these two things, the Prime Minister’s “Made in India” policy, every Indian citizen wants to take a product manufactured in India. But many people cannot identify the company, for this, the Indian developer has launched an app that will tell whether the goods are made in Indian or China.
This developer of Gurugram, The91Apps has created an Indian app (Made In India: Product Barcode & QR Code Scanner). The special feature of this app is that users using the smartphone’s camera will know whether any product is Chinese or non-Chinese. This app is available on Google Play Store.
It currently has a rating of 4.7. To find the same origin, users have to scan the barcode given on the packaging, which will identify the product production area.
How to use the app
To use it, you have to install ‘Made in India’ (https://play.google.com/stor/app/details?id=com.app.madeinindia) from most Google Play Store. After opening the app, you have to give access to the phone’s camera. After this, while tapping on ‘Scan Now’, the camera of the phone will have to be taken on the barcode of the product. If you want, you can also enter the code number manually in the search option. After this, the app tells you that the product belongs to a country.
How will the app work
There is a unique barcode on the product to do the identification. Most barcodes include the country code, the manufacturer code, and the product code. The left side is the initial three-digit country code. Although the barcode represents the country and not the product The company imposes its headquarters code, which lets us know whether the company is from the country or abroad.
